I was a fan of Necromancer in D2, hopefully a cool caster class appears. Witch doctor isn't that exciting from what I've seen so far. Monk seems really kinetic and fast paced, I could see it being a lot of fun.

Has anyone seen anything about a release date for this game? I read somewhere that it might not even be out in 2010, which I thought seemed ridiculous since it already looks as good as it does in the videos I watched.

Blizzard takes their sweet time with game production. Just take Starcraft 2. It's been in development for several years and still hasn't been released. I wouldn't count on seeing D3 until 2011 at the earliest.

I was chatting with Thoze about this the other day, and he linked me a screenshot from blizzcon that indicated a 2011 release for D3. It's supposed to go Starcraft 2, Cataclysm, D3, Future MMO according to that information. Obviously it could change, but there it is.

I'm glad they take whatever extra time is needed to get games where they want them rather than rushing them out like many companies do.
